Watch this short, informational video to learn how to use the virtual platform for HUPO Connect 2020.
Lecture recordings for the four training topics will be released on September 28, 2020 for on-demand access at your own time. The four training topics are Proteomics 101, Proteogenomics, Post-Translational Modification (PTM) Analysis and Computational Tools for Functional Analysis of Proteins. Questions and discussions can be submitted via online forum for each topic, followed by live Q&A sessions, scheduled from October 12-15, 2020 and will conclude with inspirational short talks in a special live session on New Technologies and New Approaches on October 16, 2020.
To view the lecture recordings, please click on the "Sessions" tab on the menu and search for the topic that you are interested in viewing. Speakers have spilt their talks into segments and you can view their recordings by clicking on the segments under the "Presentations" section.
For more information, please click here.
Join us for live broadcasted sessions by clicking on the "Sessions" tab on the menu (see the Program for the full schedule). In case you miss a scheduled viewing, live broadcasted sessions will be recorded and available to view on-demand after the Congress. You can bookmark sessions by saving them to your personal schedule.
Should your live session not start automatically at the scheduled time, please try clicking on the presentation screen. Do not refresh your browser; this will cause you to log out of the session.
In addition to a fantastic line-up of scientific sessions, we will also be featuring virtual industry-seminar sessions throughout HUPO Connect 2020. Please click here for more details on the current industry-seminar sessions. Live broadcasted seminars and on-demand seminars will be available.
You can easily connect with HUPO Connect 2020 attendees from across the globe by clicking the "Networking" tab. To network during a live session, we recommend opening the Networking tab in a second browser tab; this will prevent the live session window from closing.
Once you are logged in, you can update your profile and select the visibility of your profile by clicking on the "Account" tab.
If you're attending a session and are experiencing issues with the live stream, it's very likely local to your computer or browser configuration. There are several streaming options the event you are attending may have chosen from, so although there isn't one magical fix, here are some common troubleshooting tips that should allow you to experience the virtual event to its fullest.
Web Browser | We strongly recommend using a modern browser to participate in the virtual event. Specifically, we suggest Google Chrome for its security and feature compatibility. If you would like to download it, please follow this link. |
Internet Connection | A high-speed internet connection is recommended to participate in sessions without experiencing interruptions. If the stream is working, but the audio or video seems choppy, it is possible your internet connection is too slow, unstable, or bandwidth is being utilized elsewhere. |
Session is not yet live | Ensure you're viewing a session at the date and time that it is expected to be live |
Getting video, but no audio | Ensure your speakers are not muted, none of the controls on the stream (if available) are muted, and no other tab is occupying your audio channel |
Live Chat will be available on this website and on the digital platform during the live broadcast days.
The HUPO Connect 2020 staff will assist you with any questions or inquiries during the live Congress. Please contact them via the chat window at the bottom left of the Virtual Lobby.
